The site in your language
The site is in seven languages, each at its own address. Choose yours in Settings, or take the offer of the page in your browser’s language.
7 languages
The site’s pages, the blog and What's new are in English, Español, 简体中文, Français, Deutsch, Português (Brasil) and العربية. Each language has its own addresses, English’s with the language’s code in front, and a page is in its address’s language: /btc is Bitcoin’s page in English, /es/btc in Spanish.
Choosing yours
In Settings, Language lists the 7, each in its own name and script, with its name in the page’s language beside it. Choose one and the page you’re on opens in it. It’s kept in this browser: from then on, an English address takes you to the same page in your language.
The offer
Where a page’s address is in another language than your browser’s, a bar over the page offers it in yours, written in your language, so it’s for someone who reads it. Taking it is choosing that language, as in Settings. Closing it means it isn’t offered again in this browser, and Reset everything forgets both. The site never moves you from one language to another by itself.
What changes with it
Words, dates and numbers are written your language’s way, with its own decimal mark. Coins’ and exchanges’ names and tickers stay as they are. In Arabic, pages read right to left; charts and drawings read left to right, as everywhere.
